Brand Highlight: Gildan

The term blank apparel is basically synonymous with the almighty Gildan. Gildan is a Canadian company that specializes in blank active wear. From basic t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts to loungewear and joggers, they have you covered. A fun fact: Gildan not only has its own branded products, they also own Comfort Colors (that is my weekly shout out Comfort Colors) as well as American Apparel. To say they have the market cornered would be an understatement. Gildan is very much aware that everyone from small businesses to even the biggest artists use their products to create their own merchandise. And they use that to their advantage to help propel them as the leaders in the industry. It is only fair that we show some love and appreciation for one of the most prominent figures in blank apparel. So here is the Bulk Apparel Brand Highlight: Gildan!

I think this blank t-shirt single-handedly monopolized the entire blank shirt business. I don’t think Gildan has let any other brands’ shirts get used for at least 10 years. Now, I can not confirm this at all… because well it is simply not true, however it certainly felt as such. The Gildan Heavy Cotton T-Shirt is the staple for the company and has been used by almost anyone who has ever produced their own merchandise. From Justin Bieber and Kanye West making some of their most well known tour exclusive items, to the local mom and pop that made shirts to promote their store. Available in over 70 colors, it is not hard to see why. Made from 5.3oz pre-shrunk 100% cotton, this is the best shirt for durability and comfort. You could definitely say this basic tee is the highlight of the Brand Highlight: Gildan.

G180 Gildan Sweatshirt 18000 Heavy Blend Crewneck

Another staple for the company, I am currently wearing a crewneck sweatshirt that was printed on this Gildan heavy blend. Basically you simply can not escape the Gildan brand. The 50/50 cotton/polyester blend makes it perfect for not only to simply be worn, but to also have items screen printed, embroidered or even drawn on if that is your thing. The heavy blend G180 is just that… heavy. The sweatshirt is 8.0oz so you can feel secure that you will remain warm. It is also made with pill-resistant air jet yarn to provide only the utmost comfort. As previously stated, Gildan is very much aware that their products are used for companies to print their designs on, and the G180 is equipped with a tearaway label to make branding even easier for you. A great option to use to start your own apparel business or to grow your apparel business.

Gildan 5000L Heavy Cotton Women’s Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Sometimes a t-shirt is just so comfortable and easy to just throw on and go. However, sometimes you want to wear a simplistic basic shirt but also be able to feel confident. But not to fret because of course Gildan has you covered still. The perfect counterpart to their Heavy Cotton T-shirt, the G500L is made the same but just different enough to create a more feminine silhouette. Gildan H000 Hammer Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Another sector of the Gildan Conglomerate, Gildan Hammer. A newer product line that I believe deserves more, if not all of your attention. The Gildan Hammer products are some of the companies softest products to date. The H000 is a heavyweight t-shirt as well, one of the company’s heaviest shirts actually, at 6.0 oz. Do not fret as the comfort is not compromised here since the items are made from 100% ringspun cotton.

G420 Gildan Performance T-Shirt Short Sleeve

This is the perfect shirt for all of your active needs, the G420 is made with 100% polyester that has an almost identical cotton feel and is made with Aqua FX moisture wicking properties. Whether you choose to hit the gym, play a sport or maybe go for a jog you won’t have to worry about your shirt getting ruined. The G420 is 5 oz. of pure comfort and ease. Easily my favorite 100% polyester t-shirt!  Available in over 20 colors, you can complete your new gym wardrobe rotation at a steal of a price. Not a bad way to end our Brand Highlight: Gildan.
